The homepage for BaptistsThis is a ministry of teaching, encouragement and resource for all spiritual leaders of the church that seek to promote the doctrines and teachings of God, as understood by our theologians and Bible teachers. The founders of this ministry are Romanian born descendents. Our forefathers received the faith, by the mercy of God, some of them paying the price by persecution, imprisonment, loss of jobs and privileges as Romanian citizens. This ministry started as a need of our times in the understanding of Baptist principals and teachings. Our Purpose and VisionThe purpose of Vox Dei, Baptist Ministries, is to promote and teach the basics of the Baptist Doctrines, as understood by our forefathers. John A. Broadus (1827 - 1895) once said: “Brethren, we must preach the doctrines; we must emphasize the doctrines; we must go back to the doctrines. I fear that the new generation does not know the doctrines as our fathers knew them.” 100 years later his words are still reasoned in our ears and hearts. We must go back to the Word of God, teaching and developing new leaders in our churches that know and understand the Word of God, as it was given to us. Vox Dei Ministry, located upstate New York, will try to provide:
Our Vision is to be not just another ministry, but a real help to our brothers and sisters in our Baptist Churches. Weak leaders produce weak churches. We want to straighten our leaders spirituality by encouraging to go back to the Bible, to stay firm on the teaching of our forefathers, and help develop new leaders for our Churches. Seminaries and Bible Institutes will not be able to produce strong leaders, and the churches do not help in the process before getting to the Seminaries. The lack of strong leadership, produces a vacuum that we are feeling today, by less and less Christians going in the field of teaching and preaching the Word of God. Our Vision is to change that by helping Sunday School teachers, Elders, Deacons and Deaconess’s understand their call and position in the Church of Christ. The lack of understanding, politics and human will, produces Elders, Deacons, Deaconess’s and Sunday School Teachers that are not prepared or mature to be Spiritual Leaders called by God. Going back to the grass roots of our churches, we will help and encourage the present Leadership to go back to God’s principals, letting the Holy Spirit to do his job in our hearts and Churches. Confession Of Faith Vox Dei, Baptist Ministries subscribes to The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689, in its original text as the statements of faith, which most accurately expresses orthodox doctrine. In this Confession we have a body of theology in compact, and by means of the scripture proofs found therein, we will be ready to give a reason for the hope that is in us (1 Peter 3:15). Our ultimate authority in all matters of faith and practice is, and it shall always be, the BIBLE alone. We accept The London Baptist Confession of 1689 which is an excellent summary of the “things most surely believed among us” (Luke 1:1), and we find it to be a confirmation of faith, a means of edification in righteousness, and an assistance in the resolving of various problems that may arise in the fellowship of the church and ministry.
